Pick Sales Order


Warehouse Management System (WMS) allows the completion of the Netsuite item fulfillment process on a mobile device running the Movilizer application framework. 

Pick Process Walkthrough:

  1. Netsuite user selects Sales Orders to be fulfilled.
  2. Sales Orders will appear on mobile device under Pick option.
  3. Warehouse user will record items picked on mobile device.
  4. Information sent to Netsuite for Picked items may include items with quantities/serial number/lot numbers, bin location.
  5. Netsuite Item Shipment is created and linked to original Sales Order.

Pick

Process Step 1. Netsuite user selects Sales Orders to be fulfilled.

The Sales Orders to Pick screen allows a Netsuite user to manage when a sales order is fulfilled. This effectively is managuing the work load that is sent to warehouse fulfullment staff.

In Netsuite navigate to MOV Stock > Sales Orders > Select Sales orders for Picking

The Netsuite user is presented with a list of sales orders that have been sent to Movilizer on the mobile device such as sales order #624 and those that are waiting to be selected for fulfillment such as sales order #626.

Process Step 2. Sales Orders will appear on mobile device under Pick option.

Warehouse mobile device users will be presented with the pick option on the main menu showing the number of sales orders to be fulfilled.

A list of sales order will be presented to the mobile user.

Process Step 3. Warehouse user will record items picked on mobile device. Mobile device picking caters for simple, serialised, lot number and kit inventory types.

The Pick screen will display the items, number and units of item committed and progressive number of items picked so far.

 Example Sales Order #626 consists of 3 items:

Phone - Basic Smartphone (4 inch screen) which is a serialised inventory item.

Mobile Start SIM, a simple inventory item.

Mobile Setup Bundle which is a lot numbered item.

Note. Progress of the pick can be saved by using the green exit symbol. A sales order that has been partially picked and transmitted to Netsuite will need to be resent to the mobile device via the Netsuite Sales Orders to Pick screen.

Serial number S10000 is required for Phone - Basic Smartphone (4 inch screen).

Lot number L1234 is entered for Mobile Setup Bundle. Once pick is complete the information must be transmitted back to Netsuite using the transmit button.

Process Step 4. Information sent to Netsuite for Picked items may include items with quantities/serial number/lot numbers, bin location.

Process Step 5. Netsuite Item Shipment is created and linked to original Sales Order.

Inventory details for Phone Basic Smartphone serial S10000 recorded in Netsuite.

Inventory details for Mobile Setup Bundle L1234 is also recorded in Netsuite.


Pick Modes may be transaction based or item based, modes are set in the stock management configuration screen in Netsuite.

Transaction based will display all pick items on one screen. Note kit items are prefixed with a plus sign and listed under the kit name.


Item based mode will display a summary followed by one item per screen and allow the user to scroll through the list of items.

Note in item mode kit items have a reference back to the kit name on each screen.
