Setup Process
General Preferences
These are available from the Setup → Company → General Preferences screen within NetSuite, on the Custom Preferences tab under the SI Temando Shipping Integration sub-heading.

| SI Temando Pre-Saved Location | The value here will be sent through with your request to Temando to identify the origin location. This only applies if the NetSuite account does not have locations enabled, if locations are enabled then the value is set per location. |
| SI Transaction Buttons Available in View | If set, buttons for Shipping Quote, Make Booking and Calculate Shipping will be added to transactions when they are in view mode. |
| SI Transaction Buttons Available in Edit | If set, buttons for Shipping Quote, Make Booking and Calculate Shipping will be added to transactions when they are in edit mode. |
| SI Calculate Packages Automatically | If set, the shipping packages list will be calculated automatically as item fulfillment details are updated. |
| SI Duty Paid Default | If set, then the Duty Paid flag on a Sales Order / Item Fulfillment will be set by default. |
| SI Print Labels at Booking Time | If set, a label will be opened in a separate browser tab when a booking is completed. |
| SI Print Labels with Manifest | If set, labels will be opened in a separate browser tab when a manifest is confirmed or retrieved. |
Shipping Providers
The Shipping Providers record type contains a list of all accounts with Shipping Brokers. It is possible to have more than one account with a single Broker.

| Name | User customisable name for this Provider - in most cases, if there is only one account with Temando, this can simply be "Temando". |
| Shipping Broker | Shipping Broker this Provider interfaces with - at the moment Temando is the only available option. |
Live Username | Username to log in to the live system with. |
Live Password | Password to log in to the live system with. |
Test Username | Username to log in to the test system with. |
Test Password | Password to log in to the test system with. |
Test Mode | If checked, messages will be sent to the Temando test system (rather than live). |
Authorisation Key | Not used for Temando (leave blank). |
Use Default Location | If checked, the Default Sales Order Location will be used instead of the transaction location. |
| Folder | Internal ID of the folder to save shipping documentation in. |
| Origin Notify Before | What the "Notify Before" flag for the origin location should be set to if other defaults (e.g. on Location) are blank. |

Autobook | If set, a booking will automatically be made when an Item Fulfillment is saved. |

Shipping Carriers
The Shipping Carriers record type contains a list of carriers that can be quoted from or booked via Temando. This list should relate directly to the list of carriers provided by Temando. Entries in this list are added / removed by Cloud Coders and will be updated when the bundle is updated.
The fields "Markup" and "Is Active" can be maintained locally to indicate the percentage markup that should be added to any quotes from this Carrier, and whether this Carrier is available for quotes / bookings.
Shipping Services
The Shipping Services record type contains a list of services available from service providers. Each Shipping Service should correspond to a single Shipping Item (this is a built-in Netsuite type, also known as a Shipping Method). In this way, when a Shipping Item is selected on the transaction, the appropriate Shipping Service can be identified to provide the additional information necessary to communicate with Temando (or other relevant Shipping Provider).
A Shipping Service must specify a Shipping Provider (i.e. Temando, which is currently the only available choice), and may optionally specify a shipping carrier and shipping method. If these values are specified, they will be pre-selected automatically when running the Temando Shipping Assistant. In addition, they will be used if the "Shipping Quote" or "Make Booking" options are used. Because these two processes work without further human intervention, the selected Shipping Service must have carrier and method specified for them to complete successfully. These link the shipping items in Netsuite to Temando.

The default Shipping Method (Shipping Item) for a customer can be set on the Preferences tab on the customer record.
Australia Post Pre-saved Locations
When using Australia Post with Temando, it is a required that each location that goods are sent from has a Location value included in the data. This will need to be obtained from your Temando Account Manager or Temando Support. How this is implemented depends on your Netsuite Configuration

Under Set-up / Company / General Preferences, under the Custom Tab will be a field called SI TEMANDO PRE-SAVED LOCATION. Enter the value supplies by Temando in this field

Packaging Types
The Packaging Types record type contains a list of packaging types that can be used within Temando quotes or bookings. This list should relate directly to the list of packaging types provided by Temando.
Container Sizes
The Container Sizes record type contains a list of pre-defined container sizes that can be assigned to items (note: an item can either use one of these pre-defined container sizes or use custom one-off values).

Custom fields are available on the item record to specify additional information required for shipping integration.
